K-2 Students
Our K-2 students are using the parachutes! The parachute is a great tool to develop student fitness, team building, and vocabulary. We are learning words such as left, right, clockwise and counter clockwise.

Mrs. Miller's Class Playing Shark Attack!
Watch how the students are working together to move the parachute (ocean), so their classmate can act as a shark underneath it. Our lifeguard is also doing a lot of running around the parachute!

Parachute
Our K-2 classes are using the parachute increase their fitness, spatial awareness, and their ability to following step by step instructions. The following video is a clip of Mrs. Miller's class doing an activity called "Class Photo," where students work together to keep all the air inside the parachute. The group is only as strong as each individual!

Jump, Jump!!
Our K-2 grade students are working on jumping, both individually and with small groups. We have jumped over lines, long ropes, through hoops, and we are currently learning to use jump ropes! Stay tuned for pictures and a videos of our progress!
