Yesterday started one of the biggest international tournaments in the world, The World Cup. The World Cup is a soccer tournament held every 4 years. This year Brazil is the host country. The 32 international teams the are in the World Cup had to qualify through regional tournaments, and for many countries, just qualifying is a feat in itself. Once qualified all the teams are put randomly put into groups, some groups being much more competitive than others. USA was put in one of the most difficult groups with Portugal, Ghana, and Germany. USA with play their first game on Monday night at 6:00 PM, Let's Go USA!!!

Time to Celebrate!
Today we had our GOTR celebration and gave our deserving girls their certificate of completing the Girls on the Run Spring 2014 5K Run. Do you think they had fun?!

Our 1st WCCS Girls on the Run team completed their 5K run on Sunday, June 8th at UB. The girls trained for 12 weeks and finished strong with their buddy runners! We couldn't be more proud of their teamwork and dedication throughout the season. Congratulations!!
